Johanna heard about OWL during her very first week as an economics student in Östersund and quickly decided to submit an unsolicited application. She wanted the opportunity to work while studying and felt that OWL stood out from the crowd of accounting firms, thanks to its incredible location and cutting-edge digital capabilities.
– The first time I spoke with some of my new colleagues, they said, “We do what’s fun.” And I think that’s spot on! Here, we’re streamlining and digitizing much of the manual “must-do” work and focusing instead on developing what drives us. You could say that we drive development rather than just following along.
Of course, juggling school and work takes its toll, but Johanna still feels full of energy after a day at work.
– The atmosphere at the office is always great, and I feel appreciated, challenged, and included. My colleagues support me in daring to explore new areas. We also create our own “profiles,” which ensures that the right people are working on the right things. This boosts both the speed and the development of our services.
In her free time, Johanna prefers to go skiing or running in the woods—which makes the office’s location ideal—and when the weather is bad, she likes to curl up on the couch with a craft project.
