Ida attended one of OWL’s student events in the fall of 2022. As she was walking home from the event, she told her friend, “This is where I’m going to apply for a job!”
– I got a great vibe from the OWL team and thought the office felt cozy.
When Ida joined OWL, she was a recent business graduate and completely new to the industry. Today, she is the team lead for the current team. She is a shining example of the tremendous opportunities for rapid growth at OWL—provided you have the commitment and drive.
– I like that OWL has such a wide range of clients, from small local businesses to large publicly traded companies, because it makes my job very varied. Right now, I’m spending 40 percent of my time on a project for a client that involves systems that are completely new to me, which is both exciting and challenging.
In August, Ida was given the opportunity to reduce her work hours to 90 percent. Her boyfriend plays hockey in France, and she wants to be able to visit him there from time to time.
– I really appreciate the flexibility at OWL. Now I can work full-time during the weeks I’m at home, so I can take time off during the weeks I’m traveling. It’s helped me strike a good balance between work and personal life.
On weekends, Ida enjoys visiting her family in Åsarna, going skiing, going for a run, or joining in on a hunting trip. Otherwise, she likes to bake, go for a walk, or just relax without any obligations.
